Used to taking extreme challenges during his three and half years as a presenter on Blue Peter, Gethin is fulfilling a long held ambition by learning to ride with Get On Africa. One of the country’s most popular presenters Gethin has fronted the Golden Globes for Sky, Police Camera Action and 71 Degrees North on ITV, as well as having taken part in the most recent Soccer Aid event.

“I'm really excited about the adventure - but most of all the opportunity to help the people who really rely on the work Riders For Health do in the most remote areas of South Africa. I have done similar work on a bicycle, but the motorcycle enables the riders to go a little bit further, and quicker. I have loved the training, and can't wait to get out there.”
