Since taking my Get On experience on the 4th April I've been working towards my full bike license though DAS. On 12 June I passed my module 2! I now have my motorbike license!

I have to say that United Motorcycle Training in the Newport/Cardiff area were brilliant - very calm and encouraging throughout the whole experience and they must have done a good job for the examiner to say it's always good to end the day with a decent, faultless ride! (No driver faults - I think I was more surprised than anyone!)

Anyway, picked up my Honda NC700X the same day - did 60 miles that evening and have been commuting to work (about 50 miles round trip) since. The wind and the rain hasn't bothered me as most of my training has been in like that! (I can't recommend the Spada oversuit enough!)

Due to the changes in the bike tests coming there are far more people trying to get their tests completed - the examiner was saying there's now something like an 11 week lead time!
