Keeway Motorcycles... Any Good???

Hey,

I'm a new rider, I've got my Free Ride tomorrow!

I'm looking to buy my first bike. I've been looking at the Keeway Superlight 125cc but can't find much info or reviews of Keeway bikes online. Does anyone recommend or know anything good or bad about them?

Cheers,

Rich

Hi Rich,

Our advice should you like the custom cruiser style would be to look at the Honda Shadow, Yamaha Dragstar, Suzuki Marauder, or Kawasaki BN 125..

These bikes all have a great pedigree, are reliable, service and parts will not be a problem.

The more un-regonised brands more often than not become difficult to find parts, people willing to service them and having proven to be unreliable from an early age.

Hope this helps.

Hi Rich,

Something that people miss :- Do you plan to take your bike test? If you do then the Keeway isn't an acceptable bike for the A2 test, it's too slow.

A lot of people are falling foul of this, to check if the bike you are buying is ok for the A2 test, go to our website www.channelridertraining.co.uk links page and look 'm up!

Hope that helps

Nigel

Hi Rich, we have one we got recently for training as quite a few people like this style of bike. We have decided to sell it to make room for bigger bikes. Let me know if you want to try it out. We are based in Manchester. www.rjhgroup.co.uk and we could offer your training on the Keeway.

Thanks

Hi, cheers for the offer but I've just bought myself a Suzuki Marauder.

Thanks anyway!
