If you’re a fan of air shows, Eastbourne’s annual airshow, Airbourne, has two extra factors in its favour. One is the setting – fast jets, vintage planes and rescue helicopters do all their daring manoeuvres over the sea. The other is that it’s free.
This year there’s a third special reason to go along to Eastbourne Airshow, as our Get On Roadshow unit will be there. So between watching the Red Arrows, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, the skydivers and wingwalkers, you can chat to our friendly, experienced motorcycle training professionals.
Not only can they tell you all about learning to ride a motorcycle or scooter, they can sign you up for a free motorcycle tryout session with a training centre near you. That’s right – you can try out a scooter or geared motorbike for nothing, with a qualified instructor to get you rolling on a motorcycle training ground away from the roads. We’ll even lend you a helmet and safety kit.
If you like that, a day’s CBT training is all you need to enjoy the freedom of riding a motorcycle. Which may not be quite as cool as flying a helicopter over Eastbourne, but it’s a lot quicker and easier to learn – and cheaper to run, too.
If you can’t make it to Eastbourne on August 11-14, don’t worry: you can still sign up for a Free Ride by entering your details on the left. We’ll have you rolling before you can say “can you land this thing on the pier?”
