Get On Farnborough – for free!!
People in Farnborough are invited to try a motorcycle or scooter for free when Get On comes to town on Saturday and Sunday 16th and 17th September.
This is the second time the Get On road show has taken its free ride experience to Farnborough, and returns due to its popularity.
What happens at a Get On session?
Riders will enjoy a free 45 minute session, during which time they will be introduced to the gears, brakes and slow speed handling on a geared motorcycle or a ‘twist and go’ scooter, if they prefer.
All protective clothing is provided; riders just need to wear full length jeans and sturdy shoes and all instruction is by professional trainers, who are famed for their patience!
Who is it suitable for?
Get On is suitable for complete beginners or people thinking of returning to biking after a break. It is open to anyone aged 14 or over. Under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult.
It will take place at the town’s multi-purpose test centre, which is located at 35 Hercules Way, Aerospace Boulevard, Unit C1, Cirrus, Farnborough, Hampshire, GU14 6UU.
Booking is via the website or by calling Rachel on 02476 408040. It may be possible to book on the day, subject to availability.
Riders will also be given advice and information about where to go for further training and which licence would suit their needs. They will also be advised as to where they can find their nearest high quality ‘accredited’ training school, or see www.mciac.co.uk.
