Classical Brit Award winners Blake have become the latest celebrities to take to two wheels with Get On. With two smash hit albums already under their belt the quartet have a global fan base, and Dame Shirley Bassey requested them specially to perform at her 70th birthday party.
All four members of the band went to Metropolis Motorcycles in Vauxhall to do their CBT – Compulsory Basic Training – this week and now Stephen Bowman, Humphrey Berney, Jules Knight and Ollie Baines will be able to ride a motorcycle or scooter up to a capacity of 125cc.
“We’re all incredibly excited about getting on two wheels, “ said Ollie. “We spend a lot of time on tour buses going from gig to gig and have often talked about how much easier life would be if we were able to get around on bikes. Although we’ve often discussed getting bikes we’ve never really been too sure how to go about getting a licence and what bikes we should start off with. Get On has been the perfect guide for us and taken a lot of the mystery out of biking.”
