If you’re a fan of the Cat from Red Dwarf, aka actor Danny John-Jules, or of surreal comedian Ross Noble, watch the roads on Saturday 4th February. The pair will lead a rideout from London’s iconic Ace Café to the Carole Nash MCN Motorcycle Show at ExCel, to raise money for motorcycling charity Riders for Health.
Motorcyclists can pay £5 to join the ride, and follow Ross and Danny (who will be on his trademark pink motorbike) along the A406 and down to Docklands where ExCel is hosting the 2012 Carole Nash MCN Motorcycle Show. If you want to be part of it, get to the Ace Café by 9 am.
All money raised goes to support the work of Riders for Health, supplying rugged motor transport to health workers in some of the world’s poorest countries and most remote communities.
Kicking yourself because you don’t ride a motorbike? Why not come to the Show and have a go?
Get On will be there offering a Free Ride to non-riders – or even riders who have got out of the habit. One of our friendly, qualified instructors will kit you out with a helmet and safety gear and get you rolling on a scooter or geared motorbike.
If you like it, they can answer your questions about how to take the next step towards life on two wheels with a CBT or a Full Motorcycle Licence. Then, by next year, you too could be riding with Ross and Danny!
