Want to see Daniel Craig riding a nippy off-road motorbike in the new Bond film, Skyfall? Of course you do. James Bond films are famous for their action sequences, and the stunt team chose Honda CRF250R motorcycles for a dramatic chase scene in the next one.

Craig, as Bond, pursues villain Patrice (Ola Rapace) through Turkish streets, and with the two motorbikes weaving through traffic, the camera crew also used Honda motorcycles to keep up.

Like most things in a James Bond film, the riding style and the complete lack of helmet and protective kit are NOT recommended in real life. Though you can still beat traffic jams with more sensible riding.

For a more fantasy take on the motorcycle, check out the BatPod motorbike in the new Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises. Anne Hathaway as Catwoman gets to ride a giant machine that matches her black leather costume beautifully. Though, again, we don’t suggest you copy her reckless, helmetless riding. The Dark Knight Rises is in cinemas now.

Skyfall is released in October 2012. If you can’t wait to see the motorbikes in action, you can see them on display at Beaulieu National Motor Museum from now until 31 December. The Bond In Motion exhibition will also include an unmodified Honda CRF250R and assorted other James Bond vehicles.

You can win tickets to the Bond In Motion exhibition from Honda via Twitter ( @Honda_UK ) till Sunday 22 July. While you’re on Twitter, make sure you’re following  @GetOnTweets.
