Thinking of getting onto a motorbike or scooter to beat the traffic, save money, get off overcrowded trains, tubes and buses, or just to start enjoying your commute? Get along to Excel in London’s Docklands from 2 – 5 February 2012 for the MCN Motorcycle Show.
Not only can you look at a wide range of motorcycles to see what you’d like to ride, you can try riding yourself for nothing. The Get On Roadshow Unit will be there, offering free Motorcycle Tryout sessions. So if you’ve never ridden before, or if it’s years since you were on a motorbike, now’s your chance.
One of our friendly, qualified instructors will equip you with a helmet and all the safety kit and get you rolling on a scooter or geared motorbike. Moving at your own pace, you’ll soon be riding confidently around a simple course, wondering why you left it so long.
Afterwards, you can chat to the Get On team about taking it further with a CBT or a full motorcycle licence. Or, if you decide it’s not for you, just walk away with no obligation.
While you’re at the Show there’s lots to see, from the Classic Bike of the Year competition to the Revolution stunt show. You can also pick up some bargains in motorcycle fashion and other kit, or cross paths with motorcycle-loving celebrities like Ross Noble, Danny John-Jules or Trials champion Dougie Lampkin.
Can’t make it to Excel? Don’t worry, you can still have a Free Ride with one of our training partners near you. Just enter your details on the left and we’ll be in touch soon.
