Try a motorcycle for free in Wolverhampton

August 14, 2015

The Get On road show will be in Wolverhampton this Saturday (15th August), where you can try a motorcycle for free.

Up to 40 members of the public can book a 30 minute session with a professional instructor at the Wolverhampton Test Centre, which is in Spring Lane, WV4 6JX.

You can book via the Get On website, or just turn up on the day, subject to availability.

Safety clothing is  provided, but you need to wear sturdy shoes and full length jeans.

Get On is the motorcycle industry’s free ‘try out’ programme.  It’s open to anyone aged 15 or over, who wants to try a motorcycle or scooter for the first time.

This is a unique opportunity to try a motorcycle for free in a safe and structured environment.  Instructors can also give advice about where to find high quality trainers should riders want to take a CBT.  A CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) allows a rider to use a 125cc motorcycle or scooter on the road and usually takes around a day to complete.

Get On road-shows are also planned for the following venues:

Uxbridge Motorcycle Practical Test Centre (near Brunel University)  – Saturday 5 September

Farnborough  Motorcycle Practical Test Centre  (near Farnborough Airport) - 13 September

Silverstone  British Touring Cars Championships – 26/27 September

Motorcycle Live, NEC 28 Nov to 6 December (booking will go live for this event, three months before the start date)
